At Absolute Painting, we believe in giving back to the local community that has supported us for so many years. That’s why we launched our Paint It Forward campaign earlier this year. We asked our community for nominations of deserving individuals, families, or charities who could use a fresh coat of paint but couldn’t afford it. We were overwhelmed with the responses, but one story caught our attention – Mariah Taylor’s.
Mariah is a selfless person who has dedicated her life to helping others. She delivers food and clothes to the houseless every week and never asks for anything in return. Her house had not seen any new paint in over 30 years. When we heard her story, we knew that she was the perfect candidate for the Paint It Forward campaign.
We donated a $5,000 interior paint job to Mariah in April, and our crew worked tirelessly to give her house a fresh coat of paint. The transformation was remarkable, and Mariah is overjoyed with the results. “Miracles still happen… this is a total blessing and one that gave me an incentive to keep on giving and giving even more than I have given before to others,” she wrote.
The Paint It Forward campaign is not just about giving someone a fresh coat of paint. It’s about giving them a fresh start. A new coat of paint can transform a room and make it feel like new. It can also improve the air quality in a home, making it a healthier place to live. For Mariah, the new paint was not just a cosmetic upgrade. It was a gift that made her feel seen and appreciated by her community.
Paint It Forward is an initiative that is close to our hearts at Absolute Painting. It’s our way of giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years. Mariah’s story touched the lives of many, and her gratitude was a reminder that even the smallest gesture can make a big difference. The Paint It Forward campaign is a reminder that we are all in this together and can make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time. We look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come and making a difference in our community.
Lastly, we’d like to thank everyone who submitted nominations and helped spread the word about the Paint it Forward campaign. We were sincerely touched by all the stories you shared and feel so grateful to be part of such a resilient, loving community!
