You may put a sample up on a wall that is one color and it will be very hard to tell what the new color will look like. The light in your home will affect the colors greatly so test your colors in many different areas. Please do not put huge samples at eye level as they may show up after the walls are painted.
Don’t forget that just because you like a color in another home it may not work in your home. Everyone has different colors of flooring, counters and furniture so you must take all of these factors into account before choosing a color. A good interior designer may cost you a couple hundred dollars but might save you thousands in having to repaint over the wrong color.
