It is only March in the Portland area which means wet weather and likely lots more of that to come. You have been thinking it is about time to paint your home and 2019 is the year to do it. We normally start getting calls for exterior painting as soon as the weather gets halfway decent in January or February and the calls don’t stop until late October. The owners that call this time of year can get their homes painted in early Spring if the weather allows and can enjoy it all Summer long. Our Portland customers that call us in June or July might not even get their homes painted the same year as we get really busy and can only do some much exterior work each year.
Most painting contractors will make your exterior estimate valid for many months if you get the bid early and may not even require a deposit until you get closer to the work getting done. Just getting on the list is the key to getting your project done in a timely manner. At Absolute Painting we are typically booked out about 2-3 months in advance during our busy season with five crews working on exterior projects but planning early can reduce the wait time significantly.
