April is right around the corner we’re watching the birth of spring and if you’re like me you’re doing it with itchy, watery eyes, and sneezing! As we all begin to dry out, this is a good time to really take a good look at the condition of your home. The wet winters in the PNW are hard on our exteriors so proper protection and regular maintenance is crucial.
- Mildew & Moss – Weather its green or black it’s time to clean it up! Power washing the sidewalks, patio and even your siding. This Oregon native loves to grow on the shady, cool sides of your home, where the sun has a hard time reaching.
- Roof & Gutters – Take note with the next rain storm, are your gutters draining properly or running over? Water will find the path of least resistance and can make for costly repairs.
- Siding Repairs & Dry Rot – When wood gets saturated with water/rain dry rot can develop.
