It is already June and summer is just around the corner. The kids are almost done with school and time for lots of fun activities in Portland. At Absolute Painting we get really excited when the sun comes out and we can start working outside again. We got an early start this year with some summer weather in March and April which was great! Our guys spend all winter working on interior painting projects and they can’t wait to get back outside each season.
Many homeowners have already contacted us this season to get estimates on exterior painting which is great. If you are wanting to get your home painted in 2016 please remember that many paint companies get extremely busy in the summer and can book up months in advance. Last year we were booked out two months in advance so when people called us in July and August we were not sure we could get the work done before the rains returned. We are also overwhelmed with bid requests this time of year so it can take us 2-3 weeks to even get out for an estimate at times.
Many painting and construction companies have had a hard time finding good help the last couple years due to the growth in the economy and the tremendous amount of construction going on. This limits the amount of work we can handle during our busy season and causes frustration for many homeowners when they are not able to get work done in a timely manner.
