Spring is upon us and many of you have already contacted Absolute Painting about your exterior painting projects for this season. We have even started painted outside on the warmer days we have had the past few weeks. It has always been our goal to not only paint your home but to help you keep it protected from weather and costly repairs. Of course this is not an easy task given the long months of rain and followed by hot sun beating on your home.
This year Absolute Painting & Power Washing has decided to offer our customers an extra bonus if they have us paint the exterior of their home. We are offering an annual inspection on the exterior of your home every year after we paint it. All you have to do is give us a call and we will set a time to come meet you and make sure everything is holding up as it should.
Some of the items we would be looking for would be the condition of your roof and to see if it is getting damaged by moss or debris from the trees. We will inspect the condition of the wood on the home and see if we spot any issues such as dry rot or areas where moisture could cause dry rot. We will inspect the condition of the caulking to make sure it is sealed up and not starting to crack or let moisture in. The paint will also be inspected to make sure it is aging well and we can give you an estimated life expectancy of the paint.
The goal of this program is to keep ahead of the damage so you are not caught off guard when major damage has already occurred. We see dry rot on about 50% of the homes that we look at everyday and most of it is preventable. The average dry rot repair that we do is over $500 and this can happen in multiple places on your home.
